DAMMAM — Upper Primary Girls Section of International Indian School Dammam graciously hosted the pioneers day and charity fair recently at the multipurpose hall of the Girls Section.
Dr. J. Francis Borgio — deputy chairman, managing committee, Irfan Iqbal Khan — convener admin, managing committee, Dr. E. K. Mohammed Shafee — Principal and HOI, vice principals and various section heads were welcomed by the bulbul girls (UPGS) with guard of honor and the event was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. J. Francis Borgio and the guest of honor Irfan Iqbal Khan.
The hall was full of exhibits prepared by students under different clubs such as – Literary club, Math club, Cultural Heritage club, Eco club, etc. The highlight of the event was the charity fair where different useful items made by the students were on sale.
A small food court was also put up. UPGS Headmistress Mrs. Memoona Tabassum, coordinators of various clubs and CCA coordinators were very happy and excited as nearly 1,500 students visited the stalls. The event was a grand success and it was immensely appreciated by the chief guest Dr. J. Francis Borgio, guest of honor Irfan Iqbal Khan and the principal.
