JEDDAH — The inaugural ceremony of New Al Wurood International School Commerce Association was held recently at the Bombay D’lite hotel. Abdullah Gulzar Khot of class 12 welcomed the gathering. The ceremony was inaugurated by the ICAI Jeddah chapter Chairman Irfan Bhimtiwala.

Riyas Paloli, convener of the association, elaborated on the upcoming activities of the association and the objectives for conducting the same.
Abdurahman Merchant, executive member, addressed the students. He hailed the efforts and involvement of the New Al Wurood for keeping themselves abreast of the new trends of the educational world.

Carrying the session forward, Mohammed Afnas, the exuberant trainer and financial consultant, had a highly effective interactive sessions with the students.

The session enlightened them on career planning and the need of nurturing traits and skills essential for grabbing their dream career.

It was very informative for the student to gauge what it is like to pursue a career in the field of commerce, its importance and scope.

Principal Mrs. Sreedevi Menon showered her blessings through words of inspiration and guided students to the boundless opportunities their stream of study offers in the times ahead.

She reminded the students of the many choices to pick from their program of study and the opportunities market throws up with each specialization.
She also said that students can look for job roles relating to finance, accounting, taxation and even stock market.

With a professional qualification like a CA or a CS under their belt, their options become even better. Ms. Nousheen of class XII presented vote of thanks. — SG
