JEDDAH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of condolences to British Prime Minister Theresa May following the terrorist attacks that took place in London, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Sunday.

In his cable, the King said: “We have received the news of the London terrorist attacks, which resulted in deaths and injuries. As we strongly condemn this heinous criminal act, we, on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offer deepest condolences to Your Excellency, the families of the victims and friendly British people. We wish a speedy recovery for the injured. We stress the importance of international efforts to confront and eradicate terrorism."

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, sent similar cables of condolences to UK Premier Theresa May following the London terrorist attacks. – SPA
