JEDDAH — Yellow Team of coach Bernard and coach Gary bounced back after its initial loss by defeating Blue 87-86 in the Titan Watch–JBL Basketball

Tournament at the Nazeeh and Wartah (AlBaik) Park basketball court in Khalidia Jeddah here.

It was a very tight game for both teams. Densen Dolloso scored 43 points and was adjudged the Titan Watch best player of the game, while Emil Prince Del Rosario chipped in with 39 points for the loser.

This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Husssaini). The co-sponsors are Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah) and KGT Kabayan Gents Tailoring.

Danglahi Green of coach Carlo Carbo beat Maragtas Black 86-75. The winner’s outside shooting was unstoppable in the final quarter. Mikel Joson top scored with 25 points for the winner and was selected as the Giordano best player of the game. Donald Dolloso had 34 points for the loser.

R Printing of coach Jojo Cepeda defeated Jeddah Engineers 77-75. Buboy Guerrero collected 22 points for the winner and was named the JBL best player of the game, while Emil Daudie led the loser with 22 points.

Laon-Alab Yellow of coach Hansel Olivo beat Bagwis Red 86-82. The winner managed to hold on despite a spirited rally by its opponent. Bernard Carino scored 32 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL best player of the game. Kit Santos top scored with 26 points for the loser.

In the Midget/Juniors Mix division, Grey of coach Edwin Agati and coach Angel Palaypayon beat White 91-80. Jehad Usman top scored with 24 points. Black of coach Nash Musni defeated Green 97-93 as Osama Brown scored 31 points. Red of coach Rey beat Pink 84-77. Bobby Mamaluba chipped in with 20 points.
