Washington — Prince Khalid Bin Salman, Saudi Ambassador to the US, expressed hope that the strategic relations between the Kingdom and the US would contribute in serving common interests and bilateral issues and in overcoming the challenges being faced by both countries at the regional and international levels.

Prince Khalid made the statement after presenting his credentials to US President Donald Trump at the White House on Friday.

He described the Saudi-US relations as historic and strategic based on close cooperation and common interests.

He also expressed his keenness to exert all efforts to enhance ties of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields.

During his meeting with Trump, the Saudi ambassador conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense.
