Saudi Gazette report

Jeddah — Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain urged the Qatari authorities to take urgent legal and practical measures to prosecute those terrorist and extremist individuals and entities named on Tuesday as well as those on a previous list announced on June 8.

The Qatari authorities must prove their commitment and seriousness in renouncing terrorism and extremism and their engagement in the international community’s fight against terrorism, the four states calling to fight terrorism said in a joint statement issued on Tuesday.

“The four states along with their international partners will monitor the Qatari authorities’ commitment against harboring terrorists, supporting and financing terrorism, ending the promotion of extremist and hate speech, and the financing of extremists inside and outside Qatar,” the statement said.

The four countries said their current measures will continue and warned of possible future measures until the Qatari authorities commit to fulfilling all the just demands, which ensure countering terrorism and maintaining security and stability in the region.
