MADINAH — A three-minute dialogue that has gone viral on social media has revealed a humanitarian side of an Indian expatriate in his 20s. The young Indian, who spoke fluent Arabic, drove an aged Saudi woman suffering from some renal disease to a dialysis center three times a week for two consecutive years without failing once.

An unidentified Saudi man filmed the dialogue with the young Indian inside a car and circulated on the social media where it soon became viral.

According to Al-Madina local daily on Tuesday, there is no kinship whatsoever between the young Indian and the aged Saudi woman but the young man used to drive the old lady to the dialysis center thrice a week for two consecutive years. He used to wait for the old lay undergo her dialysis procedure to drive her back home though he did not have his own car.

The woman kept praying to Almighty Allah to give him happiness and reward him suitably in this world and the Hereafter.

After hearing the story, a Saudi businessman offered to buy the young Indian a brand new car.

The dialogue was overheard by thousands of social media users who established a special hashtag to circulate this unique story of love and loyalty.

During the dialogue, the Indian, whose name was not immediately revealed, said he was born in the Kingdom.

The young man said he used to drive the old woman to the dialysis center and back home for two years free of charge. He said he did not have a car and used to borrow cars from his friends.

The video showed that the young Indian man was offered a feasible job in Qasim region but he turned it down because he would not leave the old woman alone.

“I wanted to stay close to her to. It was hard for me to leave her alone. I am adamant on driving her whenever she wanted to go to the dialysis center,” he said.

A number of Saudi tweeters made hectic calls to honor the Indian expatriate for his noble deed.
