RIYADH – DaVita Inc., a leading provider in kidney care services in the US and internationally, has opened its new clinic in Samta, Saudi Arabia, as part of its partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide world class healthcare in the Kingdom.
DaVita succeed in opening its doors to its 20th dialysis center in the country – in collaboration with MOH, and providing an integrated medical health care of its 2000th patient in Saudi Arabia.
DaVita Saudi Arabia’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Abdul Kareem Alsuwaida said providing a world class healthcare for kidney patients is the type of experience DaVita aimed to provide all its patients in the Kingdom.
“We’re thrilled to have reached this important milestone, but we’re even more excited about what lay ahead for the people of Saudi Arabia and our partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Health,” he said.
“Our patient satisfaction rate of 93% is something we’re very proud of and something we’ll continue to build on here in the Kingdom, as we strive to consistently deliver outstanding clinical outcomes,” he added.
“We are delivering on our commitment to build dialysis centers in rural areas that traditionally have been difficult places for kidney disease patients to find high quality care,” Dr. Alsuwaida pointed out.
DaVita clinics for renal dialysis have succeeded, until now, in the provision of high quality services for renal diseases patients through 20 clinics in different areas at the kingdom. This success comes as a fruit of the partnership between the Saudi Ministry of Health and DaVita, which aim to provide the best level of kidney care and pathological experiences. DaVita continues to improve the output of its clinics to achieve high rates of patient’s satisfaction under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Health. — SG
