August 22, 2017

RIYADH – The Supreme Court announced that the Dhul Hijja crescent moon has not been sighted on Monday evening. The court will meet again on Tuesday evening to issue its decision regarding the moon sighting, the court said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday night.
A few days ago, the court called on all Muslims in the Kingdom to look out for the crescent of the month of Dhul Hijja on Monday (Dhul Qada 29 according to Umm Al-Qura calendar). It said any one who sees the new crescent by naked eyes or through binoculars must report to the nearest court and register his testimony.
