MAKKAH — Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, said that a total of 443 Qatari Haj pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom through the crossing of Salwa border point until Monday.

He said that around 2.038 million pilgrims are expected to perform Haj this year. The emir made the remarks in a press conference at the emirate office in Muzdalifah after making an inspection tour of the new projects at the Holy Sites.

Prince Khaled said that as of 5 p.m. Monday, a total of 1,207,000 pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom from various parts of the world. A total of 235,154 illegal pilgrims were arrested and more than 120,000 vehicles were seized for various violations, he added.
