It feels nostalgic when seeing the Nokia 3310 back in the market.

Those born in the 1990’s and before grew up buying Nokia phones series after series. There’s no denying there was at least one Nokia owner in every household before the arrival of the smartphone.

We’ve tried ten years or so of using touch screens and smart devices and now we’ve almost forgotten the good old-fashioned way of communicating. You know, where you would only take out your phone when you need to call someone and not fret about your battery life.

The Nokia 3310 is back with a bold comeback and, yes, Snake is back in the game.

We did a product review and here’s our take:

Durability comes first thing in mind when someone brings up the old Nokia. When falling on the ground, it can survive with minor scratches. It weighs about 79.6 g and its dimensions are 115.6x52.0x12.8mm. Its 2.4” display is comfortable for the sight. It has a curved window with polarized layer for better readability in sunlight.

It works only with Micro SIM. The Dual SIM allows you to separate your calls and messages between two SIM cards.

Internet is not accessible unless with a SIM in the phone. You can access web content with the Opera Mini Browser. So you can also keep checking your Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Its 2Mpxl camera with LED flash is not the best for taking photos.

We’re used to carry chargers and power banks around with us that it’s almost become a daily habit for the past ten years. This phone definitely takes the stress off from seeing that red low battery sign. Don’t worry about charging since this phone can last almost a month. Good for travel perhaps?

This phone is best for phone calls and possibly texting if you don’t mind the keyboard since we’ve gotten used to autocorrect and quick tapping on our touch screen smartphones. Talk time is up to 22.1 hours.

It’s not practical for organizing tasks, taking photos or watching YouTube videos. You might want to still carry a smart device for those other things. However, Nokia remains classic with its Snake game preloaded in the device.
