Holy Qur’an copies distributed for free

MADINAH — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift Distribution Center began distributing copies of the Holy Qur’an to pilgrims. The Holy Qur’an copies are printed in King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex and distributed at all land, air and sea entry points to pilgrims leaving the Kingdom.

Number of pilgrims who received the gifts expressed their thanks and appreciation for all the efforts made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government to care for the pilgrims. All the services provided contributed to the success of this Haj season and the pilgrims performing their ritual in peace and security.

Talal Bin Ahmad Al-Akeel, adviser to the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and chairman of the Committee for the Distribution of the Gift of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, said that the ministry secured 1.75 million copies of the Holy Qur’an from the printing complex. The complex also has published several translations and the translations of meanings of the Holy Qur’an and the languages of the world in more than 60 different editions.

The distribution operation is being carried out by a special distribution team consisting of 1,000 members who work as supervisors, administrators and distributors.
