LONDON
The Saudi embassy in London held a reception ceremony on Thursday marking the 87th Saudi National Day, in the presence of His Excellency Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi ambassador to United Kingdom. His majesty Prince Mohammed spoke before an audience of his guests, and this was followed by an exchange of greetings.

The reception was attended by a large gathering of ambassadors, foreign ministers, diplomats, senior officials in the British government, British politicians, British and international media representatives, and Arab public figures, in addition to Saudi students and a large number of businessmen.

This great day reminds us as Saudi nationals of the great and outstanding history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and how proud we are of our leaders, nation, history, culture, and development. The kingdom has witnessed 87 years of prosperity and development since 1932, when King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman al Saud united all the regions of the kingdom under one name; the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. September 23rd was chosen to be the official national day of the kingdom, and a day of national pride for all Saudi Arabian citizens to commemorate and celebrate.
