IISR headmistress receives best teacher award 2017

RIYADH
— Mymoona Abbas, headmistress International Indian School, Riyadh, has received the Best International Teacher Award-2017 by Himakshara, bestowed upon by former president Dr. S . Radhakrishnan, from Bhubhaneswar, Orissa.

She has been working in the field of education for the past 25 years. She has been helping the members of Wisdom Toastmasters Club Riyadh and conducted many motivational classes and training sessions on various subjects.

An active member of many educational and cultural organizations like MES, Riyadh, Educare Society, Riyadh, and FOSA, Riyadh, she has been boosting education among the community.

She has played an active role in bringing a lot of productive, positive changes in the educational system, by giving emphasis on discipline and moral values, which has resulted in a positive behavioral change among the students.

In addition she has brought in radical improvement in the board exam results. Mymoona hails from Calicut, Kerala, and has received many awards earlier for her contributions in education as well as for her contributions in social and cultural field.

She has dedicated this award to the entire Indian community in Riyadh and said that, “This award will be an inspiration to her, in her ongoing journey and it will further increase her responsibility as a teacher.”
