What does it mean to have a homeland?

Hamoud Abu Taleb

THERE is nothing more valuable than having and living in your own homeland. In fact, if you ever thought for a minute to argue about this then take a look at the rest of the Middle East. You will only realize how dangerous it is to be separated from your country when you think about the rest of the people who lost their countries and ended up as immigrants in the middle of nowhere but a chaos.

We may argue about a lot of stuff here in the Kingdom but we would never go against it. Indeed, we try our best to correct the mistakes and demand for the better. We raise our voices alongside with our Kingdom against anyone who tries to cause chaos or disorder. Sometimes, we may get angry at our own countries. However, it is a fatal mistake to let some people from outside to interfere and ruin our society for their own agenda.

No one can understand the precious blessing of having a safe and secure country except the ones who have lost the grace of having a safe one of their own.

Observe the lives of the immigrants! Look how heartbreaking their situation is. Those immigrants who have lost the one place they call home are now getting tortured either in their own country or at the borders of other countries. So many immigrants have died in trying to escape from the hell their countries turned to and ended up dying in either the sea or in the middle of the road.

Dignity is lost when the homeland is gone. Life becomes hell when the citizens have no idea when they or their children are going to get killed.

We may have witnessed how many times some of our enemies tried to play with our Kingdom in order to separate us from each other or from our government. However, I am very proud to see how loyal our people are and how they embraced our country with love and loyalty.

As a citizen, you can ask for anything you wish for as long as your country is still unified but, if your country is lost or destroyed then, you will ask for nothing but to survive!
