RIYADH – Ahmad Bilal Othman, deputy prime minister and minister of information of Sudan, met with Minister of Culture and Information Awwad Al-Awwad in Riyadh on Thursday.
During the meeting, Othman conveyed Al-Awwad a message of thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, for their great efforts that resulted in the lifting of decades-old US sanctions against Sudan. “This role of the Kingdom’s leadership reemphasizes the strong bilateral relations between the two countries. This is a crown on the head of every Sudanese national. On the media side, we wish to be the voice of all countries,” he said.
Earlier on arrival at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Wednesday, Othman was received by Nasser Al-Hujeilan, general supervisor for the affairs of culture and media at the ministry; Abdul Basit Al-Sanusi, Sudanese ambassador to the Kingdom, and other officials.
