Sisi thanks Crown Prince for backing its candidate for UNESCO chief’s post

RIYADH - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi thanked Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, for Saudi Arabia’s support for the Egyptian candidate for the post of UNESCO director general.

Sisi expressed his gratitude to the government of Saudi Arabia and the Crown Prince in a telephone call on Saturday night, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The president also lauded the Kingdom’s noble stances in serving the Arab causes.
