Mazeed appointed CEO of the General Authority for Culture

JEDDAH — The Minister of Culture and Information, Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad, who is the chairman of the board of directors of the General Authority for Culture (GAC), has issued a decision appointing Eng. Ahmed Bin Fahd Al-Mazeed as CEO of the authority.

Al-Mazeed is one of the distinguished national experts. He graduated from the College of Industrial Engineering of the US Milwaukee University and has obtained a master's degree in public administration from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals. He assumed leading positions in a number of companies, including Procter and Gamble, Lucent Technologies, the Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC) and lately the Tharwat Holding Company. He also attended a number of executive courses in Columbia University, the MIT, Stanford University and Harvard.
