Now that the stars have aligned and urban wear has bridged the gap between high end luxury labels and contemporary streetwear brands, men’s fashion trends this season are just getting bigger and better. From Saint Laurent, Diesel, Supreme to Zara and all brands in between, sports luxe has taken the lead with astounding results this season. Here is a look at some of the hottest trendsetters.

Les Benjamins - Even they stepped up their game. Intense graphics that create a lasting impression is the way to go. For a change, we are going to pick the most minimalistic piece from this season. The burgundy t-shirt with a pocket patch is a Les Benjamins staple. You can always pair it with one of their statement bomber jackets.

Gucci - Here to stay and dominate, no one is tired of loving Gucci yet. We picked the athletic influenced shorts in plush red velvet jersey with Gucci smeared in Gothic-style lettering on the side.

Diesel - The J Gulf jacket made from nylon and cotton blend is simply made to stand out. The biker jacket with contrasting color bands across the front and back is available in track pants too. Pair it with one of their minimalistic retro t-shirts this season. Another ‘bomb’ jacket is a modern take on the timeless and versatile bomber silhouette, crafted from compact nylon twill in a colour block design. Detailed with chunky zip pulls, dark metalware and contrasting tape along the back seam, it is definitely a keeper.

Dolce & Gabbana - Printed hoodie and jogging pants from this ornate collection because of its inspiration. Once you know this is your statement piece, keep the rest muted. This season D&G is inspired by patches, military cuts and velvet embellished with metals and braided buttons.

YSL - The new Teddy corduroy jacket in royal blue with yellow and ‘Je T’aime’ embroidery is a head-turner. Since NBA players like Steph Curry were spotted wearing it recently, we know this is going to be in heavy rotation very soon.

Palm Angels - Definitely a place you want to pick up a pair of track pants and jacket for their colourful range and tailored fit. Lebron James wore a pair with Lebron 15 sneakers in his latest cover shoot in GQ magazine. Rock a pair of Palm Angels with your favourite sneakers for that oomph factor.

Stone Island - Now a rage with the urban scene, the innovative Italian technical-wear legends have some of the most comfortable sweats. Pair one of the classic navy sweatshirts in malfilé cotton fleece with athleisure shorts. They also have a new collaboration with Supreme. There’s a reason Drake repped Stone Island every night on stage during the UK dates of his Boy Meets World tour. We get it.

Zara - Jogging trousers with the side band are in and everyone should just accept that now. Zara dares to explore sequins for jogging trousers in black and red for men, with the elastic drawstring waist band, another prominent feature of this fashion trend.
