Saudi NCSC to participate in world's premier InfoSec event

RIYADH — The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in Saudi Arabia announced on Monday its participation at the third annual RSA Conference in Abu Dhabi, set to take place at Emirates Palace on Nov. 7-8, 2017. Bringing together some of the brightest minds in the industry, the event will include high-level discussions around blockchain, cyber resilience, artificial intelligence and more.

The NCSC works to protect the Kingdom’s cyberspace from cyber threats detection, respond to cyber incidents, provide information assurance and cyber situational awareness and information sharing in collaboration with government organizations and critical national infrastructure.

Eng. Khalid Alsuwaiyel, & Eng. Salah Altokhais from the NCSC will present a session at RSA Conference Abu Dhabi, discussing the challenging threat landscape environments and looking at techniques, processes and methodologies used to respond more efficiently.

Dr. Abbad M Alabbad, the Strategic Development & Communication Executive Director at the NCSC, said “at the NCSC, our mission is to have a safe cyberspace in the kingdom. Sharing is one of the core principles of the NCSC’s. It is, therefore, vital that we share knowledge and information that could contribute in leveraging the awareness of cyber threats and increase protection and readiness nationally and throughout the region. An important conference such as the RSA in Abu Dhabi, where the industry’s leading IT professionals and experts gather to share knowledge and discuss important topics and latest hands-on experience findings and solution, the NCSC is keen to participate through the RSA as one of the important cyber security events.”
