Kingdom, Ukraine sign MoUs cooperation program

— Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko oversaw here on Wednesday the signing of two MoUs and a cooperation program between the governments of the Kingdom and Ukraine. An MoU was signed for investment cooperation in the field of agriculture. Another MoU was signed for cooperation in the exchange of news between Saudi Press Agency and the Ukrainian news agency.

A draft cooperation program was signed between Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies and Ukrainian Diplomatic Academy. Earlier, the King decorated the Ukrainian president with the King Abdul Aziz Medal. The Ukrainian president presented the King the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, 1st Class, in recognition of the King’s services.

During their talks the King and the Ukrainian president reviewed bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

They also discussed the latest developments at regional and international arenas. The session was attended by a number of princes, Saudi and Ukrainian ministers and senior officials.

President Petro Poroshenko arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday on an official visit to the Kingdom.

At King Khalid International Airport, he was received by Prince Muhammad Bin Abdul Rahman, deputy governor of Riyadh region.
