Huawei announced it’s moving forward from smartphones to intelligent phones, revealing the new Huawei Mate 10 series this week in Dubai.

The new Huawei Mate 10 series is what the public is waiting for to get introduced to endless experience with technology as these devices are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The devices are characterized by great camera, more power and high speed, says Clement Wong the head of global product marketing at Huawei Consumer Business Group.

Body

The 3D Glass Body of the HUAWEI Mate Series devices - made of glass front and back, and curved on all four sides – makes the devices feel ultra-premium in the hand with a thin, futuristic design and comfortable grip.

Among the important features is that HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro is IP67 water and dust resistant for everyday use.

Intelligent Speed

Powered by the Kirin 970, Huawei’s new smartphone System-on-a-Chip (SoC) which combines an 8-core CPU, a new generation 12-core GPU, and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to power AI computing. The performance of the Kirin 970 NPU is unparalleled with 25 times that of a CPU (Central Processing Unit) and with 50 times the efficiency of a CPU.

Providing the world’s fastest 4.5G experience, the HUAWEI Mate 10 Series smartphones only require a few seconds to load and play 4K online. The devices are also the world’s first smartphone with Dual 4G SIM support enabling each SIM to make calls and browse simultaneously.

Intelligent Camera

In partnership with Leica, the HUAWEI Mate 10 Series features a new Leica SUMMILUX-H camera with f/1.6 aperture to capture more light for low-light photography. Powered by Kirin 970’s dual ISP and Snapshot with AI Motion Detection. AI-powered Real-Time Scene and Object Recognition with Real-Time Auto Settings allows the camera to automatically adjusts and chooses settings to help users capture better photographs in a range of different environments.

The HUAWEI Mate 10 Series captures detailed AI-powered Bokeh Effect for a more natural and detailed transition between the background and subject and the AI-powered Digital Zoom of up to six to 10x brings far-off text into clearer focus and helps captures greater detail.

The HUAWEI Mate 10 and HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro intelligently identify scenes like food, snow and night, just like human eye, and then automatically adjusts and chooses settings to help you capture better photographs in a range of different environments. The camera in the mate 10 series also zooms up six to 10x bringing far-off text into clearer focus and helps captures greater detail. The devices are equipped with a dual camera co-engineered by photography giant Leica.

Intelligent Power

The AI-powered Battery Management technology used in Huawei’s Mate 10 Series allows for full day use with the 4000mAh battery with smart power-saving technology, as well as smarter power management technology to personalize system settings, optimize background applications and push notifications for each user, maximizing power efficiency and increasing battery life.

Powered with HUAWEI SuperCharge technology, the HUAWEI Mate 10 Series devices support 4.5V/5A low-voltage fast charging. A 10-minute charge powers the battery to 20 percent, while a 30-minute charge powers the battery to 58 percent. The battery remains at a low temperature during fast charging to ensure safety. The HUAWEI Mate 10 Series features the world’s first TÜV Safety Certified HUAWEI SuperCharge technology, the strictest certification of its kind in the world.

Huawei Mate 10 is available for purchase across leading retailers in the Kingdom and come with an initial 6-month screen damage warranty service offer available at all Huawei Service centers across Saudi Arabia. The Mate 10 Pro comes in Titanium Gray, Midnight Blue and Mocha Brown, 4 GB memory 64 GB of storage capacity, and 6 GB and 128 GB of storage capacity and is available in the Saudi market on November 26. The Mate 10 is available in black, Mocha Brown and Golden, and is available in the Saudi market from November 1st at SR 2299 with 4 GB memory and 64 GB of storage capacity.
