Abdullah, Tariq slam tons in Youm Al Watani Cup

RIYADH — Close Encounters were witnessed in the 5th week of Youm Al Watani Prince Sultan Cup T20 Tournament, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL).

In the Super League:

Fuchs scored 204. Shafiq 79 topscored while Basharat took 3 wickets. In reply Khalili Stars showed some resilience but were held to 147. Alam 39 starred as Muzafar got 4 wickets.

Patriots posted 201. Abdullah made a brilliant 109 off 59 balls. Dilshad took 3 wickets. In reply, Game Pro were paced by Inam 58 and Omer 47 to a comfortable victory in last over. Adil took 2 wickets.

In the Premier Green League:

Run Riderz prevailed over Raptors by 70 runs. Run Riders tallied 234/5 in 20 overs. Abdul Wahab 61 and Akmal 46 contributed. Zafar took 2 wickets. Raptors managed 164 as Zafar scored 63 while Abdul Wahab grabbed 3 wickets.

Kokan Green tallied 187. Adil 56 and Liaqat 30 dazzled. Kashif took 2 wickets. Shaheen Strikers beat 187 in the last ball with 2 wickets in hand. Asim scored blistering 62 while Liaqat grabbed 3 wickets.

In the Premier Blue League:

Titans posted 156/4. Rehan scored a brilliant 55. Asghar took 2 wickets. In reply, Asghar of NourNet scored 73 n.o. to give his side the win. Shakeel took 1 wicket.

SNS Diamond scored 173 runs, with Ibrahim 51 and Shafi 41 delighting. Inam took 2 wickets. In reply, Sagar CC’s Tariq scored 106 off 39 balls in his side’s 4 wickets win, while Shakil took 4 wickets.

In The Premier Orange League:

Riyadh Lords tallied 167 for 7. Bilal 47 and Bilawal 45 were the run getters while Qais bagged 3 wickets. In reply, Pak Knights blasted 172. Wajih’s 39 was well supported by Amir 34 while Irshad and Bilal grabbed a wicket each.

Cricketers scored 197/7, with Ansar scoring 67 and Rameez grabbing 3 wickets. In reply, Chargerz’ Shoaib 74 and Khan 49 successfully steered their side to win while Ansar and Atif took a wicket each.

In the Premier White League:

Gujranwala went past King of Apparels by 53 runs. Waqar contributed 62 while Mateen and Ali took 2 wickets. In reply, King of Apparels was restricted to 132 as Usman scored 25 while Taha grabbed 3 wickets.

Punjab Lions posted 199/3; Wali 65 and Fayaz 64 were the top scorers while Hashim took 1 wicket. In reply, Royal Fighters won with a ball to spare. Ijaz’s unbeaten 64 and Hashim’s 49 stood out as Anwar and Wali bragged 3 wickets each.
