Novel Starcom Fest: A carnival of art bonanza

— Sensory sensitivity is a sure sign of childhood in its most sublime form. That is the solid foundation for them to own moments of a higher sensibility in the life that follows. Trying to stay strong in public life and the soft in domestic has become the norm of life.

This is why Novel International School (NIS) has always stood by its student’s community providing them ample opportunities to excel themselves in various occasions. The recent Starcom 2017 was one such event. It was inaugurated jointly by School Director Saleem Hamza and Principal Mohammed Shafeeque in presence of faculties and students.

In the inaugural address, the principal congratulated all winners and participants of various events, which have been taking place for a period of one week, and he thanked management, staff, students and parents for their efforts and cooperation. He said “Arts and Literal Fest soothes us with soaring sprit and erases all kinds of differences among humans and roads to make us being human than a human being.”

The Literal and Arts Festival witnessed astoundingly genuine performances in different quarters like literature, cultural expressions, short films, debates, thirty minutes to win, brain bashing, face painting, fancy dress, qirat recitation, essay writing, public speech, mime and folk dance with stunning participation from students of Girls and Boys sections.

The carnival, which made smart, when the participants showcased their artistic bounty was a rock hard declaration that the art holds the key to make all better, nobler and greater citizens. The six-hour run stage performance thrilled audience and enthralled all.
