KING ABDULLAH ECONOMIC CITY — Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College (MBSC) of Business and Entrepreneurship has announced that registration for admission to the MBA program for the 2018 academic year is open. Prospective students can apply via online: mbsc.edu.sa

“Following the huge number of applications for admission to the 2017 MBA program we are expecting an even bigger response for the next academic year,” said Dr. Asma Siddiki, vice dean of student affairs at MBSC. “Similar to last year, admissions will be very selective and based on quality versus quantity. We also want to ensure that we have a diverse student body, from both an academic and professional perspective.”

Previously 139 students from more than 50 distinguished universities and 30 leading business entities were accepted into the first edition of the program.

MBSC is offering the MBA program full-time and part-time. The full-time program is ideal for individuals who need a comprehensive business focus to develop their leadership skills and to redirect their careers and want an in-residence campus experience.

Classes for the full-time MBA program start in September 2018 and participants will complete their degree a year later. Students typically meet four days a week from Monday to Thursday. A typical day for the MBA students includes attending classes, meeting with groups to work on projects, participating in clubs and organizations, and connecting with other MBA students through elective courses and immersion projects.

The MBSC part-time MBA program provides participants with the flexibility to earn a degree while continuing to work, enabling them to meet both their professional and personal demands. It is a 47 credit hour program and students should be able to complete it within two years. Students meet Thursday to Saturday, every two weeks.

MBSC is committed in enrolling the best possible students to its academic programs, as such scholarships will be available. With this in mind, MBSC has secured grants and scholarships for applicants, which will cover some or most of the tuition fees, depending on the strength of each candidate’s application and promise. The scholarships and grants are awarded for merit alone and will be granted at the discretion of Scholarships & Grants Committee together with the Admissions Committee.
