Riyadh — The Council of Ministers reiterated the need to fight terror which is a growing challenge.

The cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday, praised the outcome of the meeting of defense ministers of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC).

It noted the communique issued at the end of the IMCTC meeting on Sunday that terrorism poses a continuous and growing challenge and a threat to regional and international peace, security and stability.

The Cabinet lauded the determination of 41 IMCTC member states to coordinate and unify efforts to combat terrorism.

The Cabinet referred to what was stressed by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, in his inaugural speech at IMCTC on the importance of coordination among Muslim and Islamic countries.

The Cabinet lauded the efforts of the authorities in the Kingdom, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain to combat terror in which they recently announced the blacklisting of two entities and 11 individuals.
