Community fetes mission staffer Zafer

RIYADH
— Indian Embassy officials and community leaders bid warm farewell to Embassy of India Senior Staff Mohammed Zafer Mohiuddin, who has left for Hyderabad, India, after serving three decades in Community Welfare Section of the mission here.

Prior to his leaving, he was feted in three separate events. At a function held in Indian Embassy, Ambassador Ahmed Javed appreciated the dedicated services of Zafer. He also presented him a plaque of appreciation in recognition of his services. On this occasion Anil Nautiyal, counselor (CW), thanked Zafer on behalf of the Embassy staff and said that we should learn dedication of work from Zafer.

Golden Telangana Welfare Association (GTWA) then felicitated him at Mezbaan Restaurant. Mohammed Farooqui Shabaz, chief guest, Chief Patron Syed Mozam Ali, President Taher Bin Jaffar, Vice President Amjad Zubair jointly presented him with a traditional shawl and gift hamper.

They appreciated the services rendered by Zafer. Indian Embassy Staff members of the Community Welfare Section attended this event.

Telangana Assistance Welfare Association (TAWA) too felicitated Zafer at Niagara Banquet Hall in presence of community leaders and representatives of various associations.

Community leaders said that Zafer has rendered services to distreseds Indians in Riyadh for three decades and his services will be remembered by the community. On this occasion Dr. Dilshad Ahmad, chairman, International Indian School Riyadh, Sultan Mazharuddin, member, IISR, Managing Committee, Mohammed Quaiser, president, OUAAR, Dr. Mohammed Ahraf Ali, president, AIUS, Abdul Waheeduddin, advisor, TNRI, Syed Burhanuddin also spoke on this occasion.

Abdul Matheen, president, TAWA and his team presented a bouquet and Abdul Waheeduddin presented a gift hamper to Zafer. Syed Burhanuddin, Mir Rahmath Ali and Fahad Al Amoudi, from Indian Embassy, received bouquets from guests. A large number of Indians were present.
