RIYADH — Singers Abdul Raheem, Malini Iyer and Keerthi Rajan stole the show in the “Dil Ki Awaz” event, enthralling music lovers from the Indian community at the Almas Restaurant, where the singers sung everlasting melodies from Bollywood.

More than 100 families residing here attended the event and enjoyed every bit of the show, which they displayed by applauding every number belted out by Raheem, Malini and Keerthi.

The hit songs of the evening was from Raheem and Alex, as they sung “Yamma Yamma” from movie Shaan and the song “Tayyab Ali Pyar ka Dushman” from Amar Akbar Anthony. Alexender Matthews was partial to Kishore Kumar’s hit songs as he too had the base quality of the versatile singer and his numbers were enjoyed by the audience.

Other singers who performed in this musical show was Irshad Sanu, Babita Roji, Shaik Farooq, Reena and Roji Methews. Malini, Keerthi and Raheem sung many old and new melodies of Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Atif Aslam, and Rahat Fatheh Ali Khan.

Before the end of the show Aftab Nizami presented gift hampers to Abdul Raheem and Mohammed Azizuddin, Mir Mohsin Ali, and Mohammed Jaweed Ali. Mohiuddin presented gift hampers to all singers on behalf of the sponsors of the event.
