KAEC to host Lebanese maestros

KING ABDULLAH ECONOMIC CITY — Famous Lebanese composer Elias Rahbani, led by maestro Ghassan Rahbani, will perform in the Kingdom for the first time at a concert at King Abdullah Economic City on Friday.

Rahbani will be accompanied by an orchestra of 50 musicians to entertain the audience with a special night that reflects the most famous Arabic and classical music compositions. The concert will be held in a unique family atmosphere at KAEC›s Juman Park where ticket-holders will be treated to a lavish dinner and an amazing outdoor experience with spectacular views across the Red Sea.

Supported by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and jointly organized by King Abdullah Economic City and BenchMark Events, the Rahbaniyat concert is the second of the prestigious WATAR musical nights. The first event, featuring the prominent Egyptian musician Omar Khairat, witnessed a huge turnout of music lovers and tickets were completely sold-out.

King Abdullah Economic City is an emerging cultural and entertainment destination, reflecting the city’s focus on the tourism and leisure industry inspired by Vision 2030. KAEC has hosted and organized a number of quality entertainment and recreational activities, welcoming a total of 400,000 visitors in 2017. Landmark events include the Hakaya Misk Festival, Got Talent and Actionha Shows with MBC, as well as family concerts by Omar Khairat Concert, Michel Fadel, Yanni and others.

King Abdullah Economic City has more than 30 leisure and tourism projects under construction and development, seven of which are already open to visitors including the Juman Park complex, the popular iBike cycling network, sports and fitness facilities and the Juman Karting track. The prestigious Royal Greens Golf Club and the Bay La Sun Yacht Club will open later this year.
