RIYADH - Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held talks with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at his palace in Riyadh on Wednesday.
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, and several high ranking Saudi and UAE officials also attended the meeting.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of UAE, to the King, wishing the Kingdom steady progress and prosperity. The King conveyed his greetings to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed, wishing him continuous health, and steady progress and prosperity to the leadership and people of the UAE.
During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal ties binding the two countries, as well as ways to boost them in all fields in addition to the latest developments in the region, particularly the developments on the Palestinian arena, especially the Jerusalem issue.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Yemeni and the efforts being exerted to defeat the Iranian militias as well as the terrorist armed outfits which threaten the Yemeni people and the regional and international security and stability.
Earlier, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman received Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed at Riyadh’s King Salman Airbase.
