Saudi women look at books during the International Jeddah Book Fair. Jeddah International Book Fair 2017 honors Saudi intellectual and cultural figures for their contributions to the Saudi academic and cultural movement. A special tribute is dedicated to the late Ibrahim Khafaji for his valuable contributions to Saudi songwriting and music scene, Dr. Yahya Ibn Juneid for his contributions to Islamic history, bibliography and Arabic literature and Dr. Ahmed Aldubaib for his research on Arabic language and heritage. — AFP/SG
