RIYADH — Attorney General Saud Bin Abdullah Al-Muajab has issued an order for the arrest of an Arab expatriate who exulted over Tuesday's Houthi missile attack against Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

In a post on his Twitter account, the expatriate congratulated the Houthi militias in Yemen for firing a ballistic missile toward the Saudi capital. Saudi Air Defense forces intercepted the missile, which did not cause any casualties or damage.

"With this action, the Public Prosecution affirms that it will continue to pursue whoever is tempted to commit aggression against Saudi society, breach people's rights or incite others to harm them," said a statement carried by SPA.

The Public Prosecution has warned that it will monitor all violations and pursue perpetrators to protect the nation from people who incite others against it.

The statement stressed that such people do not realize the seriousness and danger of their actions. — SPA
