RIYADH
- During a telephonic conversation with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump condemned the attempt by the Houthi militias to target Riyadh with a ballistic missile.

Trump slammed this criminal act, saying that it was a blatant attack on the Kingdom’s sovereignty.

He reemphasized that the US would stand by the Kingdom in confronting threats to its national security.

King Salman and Trump also discussed the measures to implement the relevant Security Council resolutions, and hold the Iranian regime accountable for its aggressive actions, especially supplying its Houthi militia with missiles to threaten the security and stability of the Kingdom as well as other countries in the region.

The two leaders stressed the need to support all relief and humanitarian operations in order to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
