“As I respect the prestige of my institution I will strive hard to make this educational institution more successful in the future with the blessing of Allah and all the support of parents, teachers, students, staff and the community,” Akram said.

He said the strength of the students has fallen from 11,500 to 7,500. "It is expected to fall further in the present circumstance, but I am very much optimistic of the future," said Akram.

He took interest in extracurricular activities such as games, debates and lectures and wants to instill in his students the same fervor for both learning and extra-curricular activities.

He did his M.A. (Islamic Studies) in first division from Punjab University, Lahore, and Ph.D. from University of Karachi. He also studied Hadith at the Islamic University Madinah from 1403 AH to 1407 AH.
