HVACR Expo Saudi to attract over 6,000 visitors in Jeddah

JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia’s largest dedicated indoor climate and refrigeration event, HVACR Expo Saudi, is expected to attract over 6,000 visitors from Jan. 14 to 16 at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events. Following the success of the 2017 edition, “the event is back with a 20% increase in terms of exhibiting companies, which are more than 80 this year, coming from across the globe to access the lucrative Saudi market,” announced Event Director Roni El Haddad.

With more than 70% of electricity being consumed for air conditioning and cooling in Saudi Arabia, “Today, energy efficiency is a priority for the Kingdom’s construction and HVAC-R industries, and will take center stage at the upcoming HVACR Expo Saudi,” El Haddad said. On Jan. 14, the event will feature the first high-level “EU-Saudi Arabia Energy Efficiency Meeting”, under the initiative of the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network, and the European Union delegation to Saudi Arabia, with the participation of SASO (the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization).

Bringing together experts and decision makers, the meeting will address collaboration opportunities between Saudi Arabia and the European Union on HVAC standards, certification and labeling. Defined as a “key initiative in Saudi Arabia” by SASO’s Vice Governor of the standards and laboratories, Eng. Abdullah Al-Gahtani, the “EU-Saudi Arabia Energy Efficiency Meeting” will facilitate dialogue on energy efficiency strengthening the competitiveness of the Saudi economy.

Moreover, across the three days of the show, industry experts will deliver 18 educational workshops that will promote best practices and innovative solutions for the Saudi HVAC-R industry. Spanning from the latest solutions for Energy Optimization and better IEQ (Indoor Environment Quality), to Green Technology HVAC Systems, and Innovative chiller technologies for high ambient conditions, the workshop sessions will be CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certified and free to attend for all visitors.

An unmissable platform for HVACR industry professionals to network, do business and discover new technologies and trends, HVACR Expo Saudi 2018 will bring to Saudi Arabia the latest HVACR solutions and equipment from local and international manufacturers.
