Brussels — Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir said on Tuesday that Iran is the biggest source of danger in the region because of its role in Lebanon, Yemen and Syria.

Jubeir made the comments on the sidelines of his visit to Brussels where he met his Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders.

“Iran supplied the Houthis with missiles that have targeted Saudi Arabia,” he told reporters.

“The nuclear deal with Iran needs to be reviewed to prevent Tehran from enriching uranium,” he added.

For his part, Reynders said that the nuclear agreement with Iran is “still optimal and its implementation is important and we will discuss with Iran the issue of ballistic missiles and wars in the region”.

On the ongoing conflict in Yemen, Jubeir said that Saudi Arabia is working to prevent Yemen slipping into the hands of Iran and Hezbollah.

He said the Kingdom has received more than a million Yemeni refugees since the crisis first began.
