Al Burj, Butt Sports, Jamoom Fighters, Makkah Kings prevail in Kanoo Premier League

JEDDAH — Al Burj, Butt Sports, Jamoom Fighters and Makkah Kings prevailed over their respective opponents in the 5th week matches of Kanoo Premier League sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association. While Al Burj and Jamoom Fighters recorded narrow 5 and 16 runs win over Royal Brothers and CH XI respectively, Butt Sports and Makkah Kings had relatively easy wins over Saudi Oil and UT Lines respectively. Highlight of the week was a brilliant 101 off 46 balls studded with 18 fours and 2 sixes by Mansoor of Butt Sports, his 2nd consecutive century of this Kanoo League.

Al Burj beat Royal Brothers by 5 runs

Al Burj 208 — Adeel 43, Amir 36, Ishaq 33, Kamran 25; Waleed 4 for 51, Haneef 3 for 32, Hamid 2 for 46. Royal Brothers 203 — Waqas 32, Khalid 26, Haneef 25; Omar 3 for 32, Ikram 2 for 22, Atta 2 for 24.

Butt Sports beat Saudi Oil by 7 wickets

CH XI, Makkah Rising Stars, Jamoom Fighters and Royal Brothers scored impressive wins in the 6th week matches of the Kanoo Premier League sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association. While CH XI and Makkah Rising Stars beat UT Lines and Saudi Oil by 4 and 7 wickets respectively, Royal Brothers and Jamoom Fighters thumped RF Lions and Kashmir Stags A by 120 and 107 runs respectively.
