Saudi Gazette report

JEDDAH – Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir that the ministers of foreign affairs of Islamic countries have reached a consensus to issue a strong resolution denouncing Iran once again for its policies.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday following the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) foreign ministers' extraordinary meeting on the firing of a ballistic missile toward Riyadh by Houthi militias, Jubeir said that Iran has not complied with international treaties on good neighborliness, it is continuing to support terrorism and violate UN resolutions related to ballistic missiles.

OIC Secretary General Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen thanked the Kingdom’s government for hosting the emergency conference.

He stressed the Kingdom’s right to self-defense as an OIC member state. This gives the Kingdom the right to act according to the Islamic Shariah apart from international legitimacy in protecting the safety of its territories and citizens.
