RIYADH — The board of directors of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programing (SFCSP) held its first meeting on Monday under its chairman Saud Bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani.
Misk Al-Khair, the strategic partner of the federation, attended the meeting. It was represented by Badr Al-Asakir and its CEO Ali Al-Zabarah.
The federation's seniormost media consultant, Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, also attended the meeting which discussed its strategic and operational plans in addition to the proposed organizational structure.
The meeting discussed a number of the proposed activities and initiatives which are aimed at further boosting the role of the federation in spreading the culture of the cyber security and programming so as to enlighten the Saudi society of the electronic hacking and how to prevent them.
The board also reviewed a number of the agreements and memoranda of understanding the federation had signed with several specialized international bodies.
It discussed an integrated summary for the establishment of an educational system in this field that will cover professional areas which are internationally accredited to culminate in grating academic qualifications.
The board issued a number of decisions including the establishment of an executive committee, an internal auditing committees to assess risks in addition to a number of specialized work forces.
