RIYADH — The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has unveiled its new identity and vision.
TVTC Governor Ahmad Al-Faheed presented the corporation's new identity and vision at a ceremony at the corporation's headquarters in Riyadh on Monday in the presence of Minister of Education Ahmad Al-Issa.
"The corporation was inspired to modify its vision after the Kingdom released its Vision of 2030. We have launched a program called Atqin, which focuses on enabling Saudis to learn skills needed by the job market. The program will include in its third phase training for women to work in the automobile industry. The trainers will be hired from the United States, Britain and Canada," said Al-Faheed.
He said 20 percent of high school graduates are currently enrolled in TVTC programs, which is an unprecedented proportion.
"The corporation has designed a number of platforms offering services and learning opportunities for people in technical fields. The corporation is currently working on a service called Technician Assistance, to help people who are looking for technicians to get connected," said Al-Faheed.
