Riyadh to host Travel and Tourism Pioneers Forum

— Riyadh will host the third Travel and Tourism Pioneers Forum (TTPF) next Thursday. The event will have 75 participations from 30 countries around the world. The forum is in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 which considers the local tourism a major income for the GDP.

The forum hopes to enhance local tourism and encourage investment. It also focusses on developing tourism in cooperation with Russia since the latter will be hosting to World Cup 2018. Some 11 Russia companies will take part in the forum to showcase the opportunities offered to those hoping to travel to Russia and support the Saudi national team. Private and public sector, aviation companies, hotel and resort sectors will all present their services in Russia.

TTPF 2018 is a yearly event organized by Al Awsat Expo under the patronage of Prince Dr. Saif Al Islam Bin Saud. Event will be held in Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski in the heart of Riyadh.

The prince highlighted the support that the tourism sector receives from the Saudi government as tourism is presented both in the 2020 National Transformation Program 2020 and Vision 2030. Among the key projects in he Kingdom, he said, is Al-Qudiya Entertainment and Sports City Project. He also highlighted the role the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) plays in supporting local tourism. He called on all media and those interested in tourism to take part in the forum.
