Al-Assami tours Education pavilion at Janadriya festival

RIYADH — Deputy Minister of Education Abdulrahman Al-Assami visited the ministry's pavilion at the National Festival of Heritage and Culture (Janadriyah 32) on Saturday.

Al-Assami reviewed the activities of the pavilion. He said his current visit was an extension of his earlier visit to the festival with the minister of education who inaugurated the pavilion.

Al-Assami pointed out that the minister of education stressed the importance of visits by top officials in the ministry to its pavilion and other departments at the festival.

He expressed his appreciation for the outstanding work in various corners of the pavilion, as well as the creativity of the students taking part in the activities, such as painting, Arabic calligraphy, photography and handicrafts.

Al-Assami thanked those who had put in their efforts and contributed to representing a real picture of Saudi education. He praised an operetta presented by Boy Scouts from Tabuk, which he watched toward the end of his tour.

The deputy minister visited all departments and corners of the pavilion. He was briefed about the activities, which were supervised by the staff of the ministry from different regions of the Kingdom.

He began his tour at the exhibits and interactive activities in the males' section, and then visited the school stage, childhood pavilion (Investment and Growth) and finally the women's pavilion.

At the women's section he was briefed about different corners and their accompanying activities.
