JEDDAH — Al-Resoukh team continued its glory and has been qualified for the finals of the KIA Al-Jaber Annual Futsal Tournament this year under the slogan “The road to the World Cup” in conjunction with the World Cup to be held next summer in Russia.

For the fourth year in a row the team reached the final stage after winning the final of Jeddah qualifications against Shoor Al-Eqariyah team with a score of five goals to three. However, the coach of the team, Salman Noor, raised in early time the banner of challenge, when he announced that his team will not be satisfied in this season by only been qualified to the final, but will return from Riyadh city, which will embrace the final stage of tournament, with the tickets to attend the final of the World Cup, that will be given to the winning team.

The tournament will be held in the southern Region of Asir by the week end starting Friday at Al-Qalaa Academy Stadium, whereby the tournament qualification matches will be returned again this year in Asir Region after a two-year absence, to offer the opportunity to the young athletes in the region, which contains a large elite of talented young football players.

It worth mentioning that KIA Al-Jaber Tournament is being held for the ninth year in a row in conjunction with the global events that sponsored by KIA Motors Company. Whereas the company has the rights to sponsor the World Cup, the Confederations Cup and the European Nations Cup.

However, the award for the members of the winning team is a paid-cost-trip to attend a match of the finals of this important football tournament and enjoy the special atmosphere thereof, which is a dream for every lover of football game, that is considered the world’s first popular game. — SG
