JEDDAH – The leading ground handling services provider across the Kingdom, Saudi Ground Services Company (SGS), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jabal Omar Development for studying the possibility of building a passenger terminal in Makkah. The MOU was signed in Jeddah in February by Eng. Omar Najjar, the CEO of SGS and Yasser Bin Faisal Al Sharif, CEO of Jabal Omar.

“SGS long experience in serving pilgrims makes them the right partner for this project. We will be working together to explore the possibility of building a passenger terminal in the central district of Makkah that would serve Haj pilgrims and Umrah performers who arrive and depart from and to King Abdulaziz International Airport,” Al Sharif stated.

“In our business, we always pursue effective and fruitful partnerships that would help us to provide the best services to our clients and to the millions of pilgrims and Umrah performers who we serve every year. Our partnership with a leading company such as Jabal Omar is a good example for that,” Eng. Omar Najjar Said

“This is one of many initiatives that are set to help SGS provide good quality services, and to facilitate all the travel procedures for the pilgrims,” Eng. Abdulaziz Al Noaim, Business Development General Manager at Jabal Omar, said.
