Crown Prince: If Iran makes Nuclear bomb, we will do the same

March 15, 2018

CROWN Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, has said that his country will build its own nuclear capabilities if Iran develops a bomb.

The Crown Prince made the statement to “CBS This Morning” co-host Norah O’Donnell in a much-anticipated interview set to air on March 18 ahead of his state-visit to the United States. “We don’t want to acquire nuclear weapons. But, if Iran develops a bomb, we will do the same in the near future,” he said.

In a preview of the interview posted by CBS online, the crown prince also likened Iran’s leader Ali Khamenei to Adolf Hitler during the rise of Nazi Germany.

“Because he wants to expand. He wants to create his own project in the Middle East very much like Hitler who wanted to expand at the time. Many countries around the world and in Europe did not realize how dangerous Hitler was until what happened, happened. I don’t want to see the same events happening in the Middle East,” he told O’Donnell.

The Crown Prince also noted that the Saudi economy is larger than that of Iran.— Sabq online
