Aramco’s commitment to further elevate role of women in the Kingdom’s transformation reiterated

DHAHRAN — Saudi Aramco participated as a lead sponsor in the Women in Leadership Economic forum titled “Let’s Talk About Tomorrow,” taking place on Monday and Tuesday in Riyadh.

At the forum’s opening session, Yaser Mufti, Saudi Aramco vice president of strategy and market analysis, said, “Saudi Aramco has a long history in female recruitment and more importantly their empowerment and development in the energy sector. The company continues these efforts to foster diversity and to increase female participation in the national economy.”

He added: “In Saudi Aramco, women have always proved themselves, assumed senior leadership positions, enjoyed equal opportunities in various fields, and they continue to unleash their full potential constantly.”

The forum brings together up to 1,000 business leaders, entrepreneurs, diversity champions and policy-makers from across the Kingdom to advance women in leadership and address the challenges facing Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Aramco’s participation at the event included Lamah Al-Khayyal, head of women development and diversity division; Einas Ashgar, COO of Waed Entrepreneurship Center; in addition to Colin Sloman, director of management and professional development.

The Women Development and Diversity Division in Saudi Aramco, along with a number of females from other subsidiaries, have participated in a number of panel discussions in addition to a workshop titled “Courage to create tomorrow.”

The forum tackled several topics, including economic empowerment, Saudization, diversity and inclusion, innovation and entrepreneurship refining, processing and marketing of hydrocarbon energy refining, processing and marketing of hydrocarbon energy refining, processing and marketing of hydrocarbon energy refining, processing and marketing of hydrocarbon energy. — SG
