GLORIA Hotel aims to bring happiness to the taxi drivers and its employees by distributing donuts and hot beverages to mark the International Day of Happiness. It was organized by the hotel management led by Freddy Farid, area general manager, to brighten the day of each person and to spread happiness.

The employees were welcomed in the staff hotel entrance by the management with donuts and hot beverages and most of them were surprised and happy with the gesture. Some of the visitors and taxi drivers near the hotel were also treated the same way as the hotel employees.

Gloria Hotel also ran an online competition on this day, where the winner would get a lunch or dinner voucher for two at its all day dining restaurant – La Terrasse and a 60 minute Balinese Massage for two at Dreamworks Spa in Gloria Hotel.

The UAE today joins the rest of the world in celebrating International Day of Happiness on March 20 every year with the aim of making happiness a fundamental human right and goal for all of humanity with the aim to improve quality of life of both locals and expatriates.
