Schneider Electric Innovation Summit reveals new products and solutions for buildings of the future

RIYADH — Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, hosted the Innovation Summit — Buildings of the Future, the event includes important new product launches, focused sessions, panel discussions, and an exhibition area.

“We were very pleased with the large number of high profile attendees, which included top level decision makers and influencers from the public and private sectors,” said Najib Al-Naeem, country president of Schneider Electric. “Their keen interest was because the Kingdom is engaged in many mega projects at a time when the construction and communication sectors are witnessing successive quantum leaps in new technologies.

“Schneider Electric is well known for its commitment to innovation at every level and therefore we organized this seminar to bring the attendees up to date with our newest products that offer ideal solutions for the new smart cities other major residential, commercial and industrial projects that are a shaping the future of the Kingdom.”

The event attendees included representatives from the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Energy Industry and Mineral Resources, SABIC, Dur Hospitality, the real estate sector, engineering consultants, interior designers, hospitals, hotels. in addition to many other private sectors.

The highlight of the summit was the launch of Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure solutions for buildings of the future, along with three other new products that showcased Schneider Electric’s leadership in energy management.

The event started with a welcome note speech by Mustafa Alhafi — Healthcare Segment Manager, who was followed by Mutaz-Billah Mujahed — ME building management systems category leader, who presented EcoStruxure-Buildings, followed by Mowafak AlSaadi - FD / WDA / EV / CSU marketing and prescription manager on Unica BS an innovative connected sockets & switches with ingenious design, followed by Mohammed Daghash — MEA smart space senior marketing and category manager on KNX Smart Space & Fusion Multi-TocuhPro, followed by Mutaz-Billah Mujahed on security expert an edge control solution, followed by Home of Innovation by Sabic Eng. Abdullateef Sami Al-Assafi on The Power of Performance.

In addition, there was an innovation hub showcasing EcoStruxure solutions in buildings, following by focused sessions on three tracks: a healthcare track, a hotel track and a residential track.

“There is no doubt that interest in our innovative new products was galvanized the National Transformation Program 2020 and Vision 2030,” said Mohammad Faraj, eco-building vice-president at Schneider Electric. “The summit attendees interacted with our presentations and discussions, showing particular interest in our EcoStruxure solutions, which we have developed specifically for smart cities and which has become the go to solution for the Internet of Things (IoT).”
