SAUDIS and Britons confirmed their commitment to keep abreast of global health and medical developments and raise the private sector's contribution to health care spending up to 35% by 2020 to attain the National Transformation Program and keep up with the foundations of Vision 2030 to put the Kingdom as top of world's healthiest countries.

This was announced during a press conference held in Jeddah, in the presence of Muhammed Abdel Rahim Yaseen, chairman of Yaseen United Group, Saudi and British executives and officials to commemorate the strong alliance that brought together Manayer Najd Medical Co., a member of the pioneering Yaseen United Group, with Vitabiotics, winner of the Queen's Award for innovations in vitamin and family service research for over 15 years.

Yaseen confirmed their commitment to contribute to the success of the Saudi health system through a successful global alliance with the British company that has been offering leading and distinctive products in the Saudi market for more than 15 years and in more than 100 markets around the world.

He noted that this step aims at augmenting the quality of products to achieve the ultimate goal of the national transformation program by raising private sector spending in health care from 25% to 35%, which in turn would lead to sector’s financial sustainability and boost economic social development in the Kingdom.

Moreover, he praised the contents of Vision 2030, which reflects the directives of the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to invest the Kingdom's economic, geographic and human resources in strongly positioning the road map of the future and achieve prosperity and well-being for the country's citizens, confirming Vision 2030 boosting of health sector role in providing preventive health care.

He stressed that Manayer Najd Medical Co. offers the most innovative healthcare products for the better health of the Saudi family and will continue to expand and serve the health of the family and community. Out of social responsibility and serving the family, Manayer Najd contributed to a number of events, conferences, and philanthropic activities, and to the World Cancer Day to raise awareness of cancer in Taif in cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs and Ministry of Health, recently.

“We offer the most innovative healthcare products for better health of the Saudi family and will continue to expand and serve the health of the family and community,” he said. — Saleh Fareed
