Proud to make a dream come true

A number of former and present ministers as well senior officers took the Haramain Express Train on an experimental trip from Madinah to Makkah via King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh on Sunday. The officials expressed their pride in making a dream come true and said the train was ready to serve the pilgrims, visitors and residents. Transport Minister Nabeel Bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi and Chairman of the Public Transport Authority Rumaih Bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih received the ministers when they arrived at the railway station in Madinah. Among those who boarded the train for the trip were Minister of State and Cabinet Member Ibrahim Al-Assaf, former transport ministers Jabara Al-Suraisri and Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Muqbil and Minister of Civil Service Sulaiman Bin Al-Hamdan as well as several former government officials. They also visited the control center and reviewed the progress of work for the launch of the train service. — SG photo
